Várdomb Guesthouse and Restaurant is situated in the heart of Csík (Ciuc) region in Csíksomlyó (Şumuleu). This purpose-built modern guesthouse, opened up in summmer 2008, is situated on a hillside next to the Kis-Somlyó Mountain, 3 km far from the center of Csíkszereda (Miercurea Ciuc), just a pleasant 5-6 minutes walk away from the monumental baroque church of Csíksomlyó (Şumuleu).
Our guesthouse is situated in one of the most peaceful corners of an otherwise busy touristic region. The hillside has panoramic views over the Csík-valley and the surrounding mountains: the two wooded hills of the Kis- and Nagy-Somlyó and the mighty, evergeen chain of the Hargita Mountain with all its endless pine forests, narrow passes and rocky peaks.

Várdomb Guesthouse welcomes those who prefer active recreation (the area is ideal for walking, hiking and cycling, while the city center is just a few minutes car journey away) but it is also a perfect location for peace and quiet.
Our Guesthouse has 18 en-suite homely furnished double bedrooms, the natural pine furniture giving a timeless country feel. Six of the rooms are twin bedrooms with balcony, having enough room for a spare bed, if required.
All rooms are with private facilities (shower and toilet) and have a TV set.

Our stylish restaurant on the ground floor of the house can sit up to 50 persons. It is just the perfect location for business meetings, family celebrations and social evenings.

The restaurant has splendid views over the Somlyó and the Hargita Mountains.

From spring to autumn enjoying fresh mountain air on the terrace is a must for our guests, breakfast can also be served here in good weather.

The conference rooms is perfect for meetings, seminars, trainings and presentations for 50 persons.
